Fully Surfaced Track System

Our uniquely designed surfaced track system promotes a healthy lifestyle for the horses, whilst improving their physical and mental well-being. It allows them to roam freely whilst encouraging natural behaviours. Our track horses spend the day on the track with ad-lib hay, and they have free access to large areas of grass turnout overnight.

50 Acre Retirement Turnout

We provide 50 acres of all year round turnout specifically for our retirement herd. The spacious environment allows the herd to live naturally, roam freely, and graze at their leisure. They also have access to a substantial shelter, with secure stalls for feeding.

Featuring a variety of jumps, floodlights for riding in the dark and a well-maintained rubber surface.

Hacking

Penwood Stables is surrounded by miles of on and off-road hacking, including the bridleways on and around the Osmaston Estate.
